Browning Superposed Lightning 12 gauge over/under shotgun made in Belgium with 30" barrels, walnut stock, and classic design. Highly collectible sporting shotgun. Fixed IMP Mod and Full Choke. Read more.
The Browning Superposed Lightning is a classic over/under shotgun designed by John Moses Browning and manufactured in Belgium by FN Herstal, making it one of the most desirable and collectible Browning shotguns ever produced.
Chambered in 12 gauge, this model features 30-inch vent rib barrels, typically choked Full / Modified, making it ideal for trap shooting, sporting clays, and upland or waterfowl hunting.
The Lightning variant is known for its sleeker profile and rounded pistol grip, offering improved handling and faster target acquisition compared to earlier Superposed models. It features a blued steel receiver with light engraving, paired with a checkered walnut stock and forend, giving it both durability and classic aesthetics.
Belgium-made Superposed shotguns are especially sought after due to their hand-fitted craftsmanship and historical significance, as they were produced before Browning moved much of its production to Japan in later years.
Whether used as a field gun, competition shotgun, or collector piece, the Browning Lightning remains one of the finest examples of a traditional over/under shotgun.
